Is it possible to protect yourself from diabetes
Sometimes, walking along city streets, we often notice a lying person with obvious signs of intoxication. In such cases, we usually grin and move on, not worrying about the state of the subject. But a person lying on the ground may not be drunk, he may simply be unconscious, for example, due to the lack of insulin at hand. This applies to people who have diabetes.
When a person is healthy, his sugar level is normal, but the slightest change in sugar level leads to a serious illness called diabetes.
In recent decades, the number of diabetics is increasing, and not less than 20% of patients – children and young people not older than 25 years.
Doctors divide diabetes into two categories: insulin-dependent and acquired.
The first type of disease occurs in case of insufficient production of insulin by the pancreas. Insulin is a regulator of blood sugar, so if it is not enough, sugar exceeds the permissible norm several times. Most often, insulin-dependent diabetes is acquired after infectious diseases suffered in childhood. If a child often has the flu or sore throat, his immunity weakens and stops fighting the infection, which can damage the pancreas, whose work is impaired, which leads to diabetes at an early age. Often a person can get diabetes due to poor heredity, and this disease can be transmitted through one or even two generations.
The acquired type of diabetes is the result of a “sweet” life, that is, unlimited consumption of flour, sweets, food from McDonald’s, etc. With a large absorption of carbohydrates and a sedentary lifestyle, it is not surprising if you have diabetes. Obese people are almost all affected by this disease, but few worry about it until the disease becomes chronic. Along with diabetes, a person who is inattentive to his health receives coronary heart disease, hypertension, atherosclerosis, renal failure, and many other ailments.
In order to protect your body from such an unpleasant and completely unnecessary disease, you just need to lead a healthy lifestyle, that is, eat as much as necessary, move more, exercise, exercise, be less nervous and properly distribute work and rest. In the diet of every person at any time of the year should be present fruits and vegetables, herbs and fresh juices. It is better to replace meat dishes with fish, in which cholesterol is present in smaller quantities.
Everyone should understand that it is cheaper for health and budget to be healthy for many years than to buy expensive drugs and constantly monitor blood sugar levels.
